I got this New 3DS that has been reset to factory settings but can't be setup afterwards.
Powers on, shows the initial language setup screen.
No button except Home (which shows a crossed out home, duh) works. Touch does nothing as well.
Can't go into touch calibration with the key combo (L+R+X+power up), just goes to the initial setup.
The same motherboard in a different set of working components acts exactly the same. The Touch panel is clean, there is no gunk or even double-sided tape. Also tested another one, no change.
It seems to have been hacked at one point, GM9 launches from sd (Start+power on) but the cursor constantly scrolls up. D-Pad works (including up), all buttons etc. Analog stick or C-Stick doesn't work, not sure if it should. Tested like 3 different working analog sticks, no change.
Any suggestions on next steps? Much appreciated.
