Hardware Hacking Homebrew My N3DS XL 11.16 wont boot if I inserted my SDCARD. Blackscreen Only

UPDATE: RESOLVED NOW !!! I CLEAN MY MICRO SD SLOT



Okay so last Monday I decided to install the CFW on my N3DS XL and everything smooth and went well. Im on 11.16 version btw and have the latest version of Luma3DS. I played games and no issues at all. They yesterday I changed my C - stick and it was very easy for me and I didnt remove other cables, only the LR button. After that I put it back I turned on my N3DS XL and it works fine / normal. but I forgot my microSD isnt plug in yet, So i inserted my MicroSD and turned it on but it only gives my a black screen with blue light I waited 30mins and its still black screen with bluelight(power). So I pressed the power button to turn off the 3ds and removed the SD card and it works. I deleted the boot.3dsx and boot.firm on the root of the SD card and placed a new boot.3dsx and boot.firm but it still the same problem. It stuck on the blackscreen if I inserted my MicroSD

I can ONLY access Godmod9 and Luma without the microSD inserted on my 3ds

I tried 4 different microSD they are all in FAt32 format ( 2 microsd with luma3ds on the root of the sDcard and the other 2 are blanks but still blackscreen if plugged in the SDCARD ) Im 100% sure my SD cards are legit and working.

Does anyone has this issue? Did I brick my N3DS XL? Please help I cannot find answers. Thank you

We already told you in your first post here of your problem, beside your crying for help by posting your problem in another 5 threads, that youre cardreader may have a malfunction. Check the ribbon or replace it.

it is on the root of my sd card but again once I inserted the SDCARD it will give me a blackscreen and blue light forever

You said already another time

And again, there is a problem with your Cardreader like we said in the other thread, because before you opened the system it worked. If you plug a SDCard in, the cfw will check for luma boot.firm on SDCard first. If there is none it checks for boot.firm in CTR-Nand. And because there is a problem with your Cardreader it stucks. Suggestion for solution: Check the ribbon by unpluging and repluging it or replace it. Else there is a electric component corupted on the PCB (Motherboard) by touching it through electic discharge. And there is literaly no way that its a software problem.

@Soraiko Nice to know and how did you solved it? Did you downgraded b9s again? Some more information would be nice. Also the developer would be interested in this issue, as i see there is one issue opened.

i did a ctrtransfer. and resetup luma

But in his situation he cant access the SDCard. He can only access gm9 and luma without SDCard insert. If you had a similar Problem you had`t done a CTRTransfer because you need the SDCard for the image and script files?! Can you please specify the Problem you had?

so after i Updated B9S, my 3ds didnt boot with the sd, but without. so i formated my SD with Fat32 clustersize 32. and followed this.

Ah Ok, the 3ds cant access the card. But godemode could. This can be tryed. So in his case he must enter gm9, plug the card in afterwards and mount it.

@icebear21 There is something what you can try as you read this by checking this latest posts. As you tryed this, give us feedback.

so if he can boot gm9 without sd. he should boot that first and then insert the sd. its how i did
