Any way to disable connection attempts from JKSV to Google Drive from EmuNAND only? I’m getting expected crashes due to no network connection on my EmuNAND.

Works a dream in SysNAND though - thanks for the guidance @JK_ and @binkinator :)
Hmmmm. Thinking outside the stated requirements for a bit…

Any aversion to enabling dns:mitm and exosphere so you can enable online for everything except Ninty services under emunand thus enabling JKSV to operate normally?

https://rentry.org/ExosphereDNSMITM

(side note I don’t think we should expect too much support on an alpha feature.)

Not averse to either as I’m already familiar with both and use them as standard on my SysNAND. I had considered it a lesser option however due to the need for a connection.

Do you happen to know if I should expect a crash or not once I’ve signed in to my Google account? I haven’t tested that on my SysNAND but if it works I’m happy for a temporary connection and then remove it to prevent the crash.

I had hoped there might be an edit I can make to my JKSV config file, or failing that using Checkpoint or something exclusively on my EmuNAND. Only issue with the latter is that JKSV ‘just werks’ for everything I need and I hate clutter on my SD card!

Agreed. JKSV ticks all the boxes for me. No need for anything else!

Since the Google version isn’t an official release and there’s only a handful of us using it I expect there will be some edge cases w/ error handling. Kinda have to roll with some given requirements and allow the program to operate in best case scenario. Google functionality is just icing on top of an essentially flawless cake.

I’ve not tried logging in first. It’s worth a shot. I just use dns:mitm and call it done. Been using it Online for almost 2 years now w/o any issues whatsoever.

All fair points. I’ll revert back to an official JKSV release I think. No denying the Google Drive connectivity is cool af though!

I’ll try disabling my connection on SysNAND to see if it falls over first. That way we will know if it requires a constant connection to stop crashes.

Thanks for you help - appreciate it a ton!
