Use tinfoil as a base like Mario Maker Linx. MML is able to download and inject user made levels from other homebrewers who provide the levels from saves into your save data. I was thinking the same could go for Miis.

I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart. -
