The free games with Xbox Live Gold have been announced for November 2022. Available for the whole month, from November 1 to November 30, is the HD remaster of Praetorians, a medieval RTS title from 2003. For the middle of the month game, co-op shooter Dead End Job will be available starting November 16.

This also means you're running out of time to get October's games. Windbound will no longer be available past October 31 when it is replaced by Praetorians - HD Remaster, and Bomber Crew: Deluxe Edition will stop being available on November 15 when it is replaced by Dead End Job.

At this point you are essentially paying for the privilege of playing online, nothing else.

Online play on PlayStation and Nintendo would still be free if Microsoft hadn't done it themselves. Possibly.

xbox live gold these days feels like the medium sized meal that fast food places offer just to make the large size look better value. Clearly they just expect people will sub to gamepass instead
