Kirby rtdl cutscene not working

When I try to make to make a new save file it cuts to a white screen. I imported a 100% save file and it works fine as long as I don't load cutscenes from the theater or try to reattempt the final fight. I'm using a modded wii. I have the physical game but the disk drive doesn't work so I use wii flow. It seems to work fine on dolphin besides lag but that's just my computer.
