Just Dance 2023

Hi everyone,

So I just installed Just Dance 2023 and it tried to connect to the Ubisoft servers and asked for an account right off the bat. Is It the end for us or is there any hope?
Is there a modding scene with these games? Have people found a workaround for Just Dance Unlimited? I only check this series once a year to play the new songs, so I'm a bit out of it

Any answer appreciated :-)

OP, you bought the game, or installed a nsp? If the latter, it makes me wonder why the nsp was dumped in the first place. Useless is useless.

Yes you can, but you have to extract the NSP with the appropriate keys. Wexos Toolbox lets you do that I believe.

2) mod maybe can restore those songs, like it does for the new Taiko game aswell

idk what the heck that is but I'd rather recommend nxdumptool legacy (from their Github page) or rewrite (from their Discord server) after dumping keys with Lockpick_RCM.

Nah-nah, Taiko doesn't require an online login at the start and all the checkups like JD23, which is now an online-only game.

Ubisoft can get away with online-only with this particular game, since nobody plays Just Dance while on the go. Every player is at home and (presumably) has internet access. But anyway, I would assume they didn't suffer too much from piracy in the previous years. The target audience (mostly parents buying for their kids) is not the typical gbatemp user.

What about a group of young and happy people, boys and girls which are at the top of the mountains or going hiking for example, all those who wants to dance at lunch or sometimes, at the outdoor travel camp, maybe in a deep cave or smth.

When fist time download offline datebase.It can play offline.
The offline datebase is in Tf:/nintendo/saves.
This file is encryption whit device sd_seed.
I tset it can restore a offline save to skip accound link and vist game menu.But the offline datebase cant use on other device.

Yes.And i test jd 2023 & Taiko no Tatsujin Rhythm Festival season pass.When i dump game save date and copy NIntendo/save to emunand floder.It also can play music list and work fine.So if somebody can re-encrypt it and find some method to use NIntendo/save files in other device.This kind game also can play with CFW device.
By the way, jd also can repack music file mod work on old vesion jd game.

The only way for you to play the new songs now is through the mod on the old games. The song files were just shared yesterday, so many modders will release their mods soon. However, only the base maps are available now since the alternates are online that it will take a while for being added, either the regional exclusives.

I tried it myself but without moving folders, backing it up and restoring with JKSV etc. instead.
However I used the free version with two songs and I couldn't get further than the main menu because everything required a connection, even though I connected normally on stock sysNAND before and even logged into Ubisoft (and therefore restoring this savegame later).

So if it works for you, which I dont wanna doubt as is, then maybe it only works for the 2023 version, because the "Data Management" option in the settings on the free version says that it's only available in 2023, maybe that's related.
