Apple jailbreak issues

So i jail broke my friends iphone 3g on ios 4 and she has been experiencing some major problems such as her iphone freezing up alot and slowing down. can someone give me some insight please?

I don't know about about freezing but it will slow down no matter what

Iphone 4.0 software is really slow on 3g models cause of the lack of ram. Jailbreaking also slows down the iphone a bit. I would either downgrade the software, then jailbreak or just try to bare with it.

you just simply reset the iphone (by that thats sjutdown and restart) hold down the piwer and the home btn until the iphone restarts. that should help

Download Backgrounder and use it to disable the backgrounding for anything except programs such as Radio Apps which run while closed. This should mean there's less stress on the RAM. You could also disable the Wallpapers.
