Layer-8 problem is same as saying "Pebkac"– Problem exists between keyboard and chair.
If you don't know the expressions, you have to look them up. It is a very poorly disguised insult combined with arrogance (decrypting requires non-common knowledge). Using such expressions shows the person you are insulting isn't even worthy of a clear statement.

I have to confess my first reply here was anything but friendly as well. My apologies for this. The reason for me losing my temper with this… is the big number of problems caused by the eternal urge to delete/uninstall stuff despite the omnipresent warnings. Nearly always the same bad reasons:
- I want to start from scratch!
- I want to sell the console (and not disclose previous modding to the buyer)

I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart.
