Well,I don't think the head tracking of 3ds is perfect. I wear glasses, that makes the super stable 3d often not work properly. The result is, when I turn 3d to max, the screen is prone to ghosting. This kind of ghosting is determined by the depth of the 3d, the smallest 3d can hardly feel the ghosting and the effect of head tracking is also easier to accept.
If I turn the super stable 3d off, I can play games with clear and beautiful 3d effect, though I can't move my head or hands at the moment. But sometimes I just can't get such a standard pose such as playing on the bed, I'll turn on a little bit of 3d, and now I need to turn on super stable 3d again😂!
So I hope to find a way to switch super stable 3d without going into system settings, because it takes some time and I have to turn off the game I'm playing currently.
This request may be strange and unreasonable. But it doesn't matter whether the problem can be solved, maintaining the status quo is not bad too. But it would be better if a solution could be found.

I don't currently have a new 3ds at the moment, but I am pretty sure if the sensor/camera is covered with anything it will stop the stable 3d. Might be a little rough but a small strip of electrical tape will do the job.

Oh, nice idea! But it is a pity that blocking the camera and sensor makes the screen keeps shaking and I think it's caused by retrying on opening stable 3d. I don't know how Nintendo designed it, but what I'm sure about is that just covering the camera doesn't make 3ds go back to turning off stable 3D.
Anyway, thank you very much!

No problem! I wonder if super stable 3d toggling can be implemented in the luma3ds menu... that would be a cool feature.
