Install .nds like any other 3DS game

I've not come across a clear guide as to how to do this. I want to install my Nintendo DS games to my 3DS's SD card and access them individually from the the 3DS's menu like any other game on the system.

Is this possible? The only thing I've seen is using TWiLight Menu++ and having to basically open a DSi style menu to access NDS games.

I have already coppied my NDS games as .nds files to my SD card using GodMode.

You could use https://gbatemp.net/threads/nds-forwarder-cias-for-your-home-menu.426174/ and make forwarders for your home menu. But if you're wanting to fully install nds as cia, no, there is not a way for that option.

You can install the nds forwarder and select your roms to make them on the home menu
