Images of Logitech's and Tencent's upcoming cloud gaming handheld leaked

Earlier this month, Logitech announced a partnership with Tencent to develop a handheld gaming console dedicated for cloud gaming, the tentatively-named Logitech G Gaming Handheld. While a registration link has been provided to get access to updates, details or even renders of the device weren't made public. However, leaker Evan Blass shared some of the handheld's images, before getting taken down with a DMCA notice. But other outlets were fast enough to backup the images, which you can see below:

Those images give a general idea about the device's shape, form factor and buttons layout. The latter are asymmetrical, with two extra face buttons on the lower side acting as a 'Home' button and a custom 'G' button. One of the images also show that the Logitech G has Google Play access, which could indicate that this is an Android-based device, as opposed to Windows-based like other competitors' recent handhelds.

While the veracity of those images has yet to be confirmed, Logitech's response indicates that these could images could be indicative of their upcoming device. In addition, Twitter user @Za_Raczke provided a follow up tweet thread with more specs details obtained from the FCC, Geekbench, the US Patent Office and the Play Store Console:

While these specs might not be as beefy as the latest gaming phone, it is a cloud-focused device. We'll have to wait for an official confirmation from Logitech, so take these details with a grain a salt.

I don't think I've ever lived anywhere that would allow that. It's a struggle to get internet that is above 100 Mbps.
Where do you live? Like I said I'm not crazy about cloud gaming, but it has merit now even on the go, as long as you have a decent mobile provider with a modern unlimited data plan. And that merit will only grow in time as wireless tech improves while the device itself won't have to physically update to take advantage of these inevitable improvements.

I've lived in just about every part of Ohio and have never had internet good enough. No ISP or mobile provider is consistent enough.

Oh dang, dunno what to tell you. It's not like my home state is wildly more happenin than Ohio (it's Wisconsin), though I do live right in the heart of Madison. Still I've had great luck with my mobile hotspot on the go on road trips in recent years.

I hope you don't plan on playing any more FromSoftware titles then.

I hope you plan to boycott FromSoftware as well. Tencent owns 16% of them now.

You talk as if FromSoftware makes good games.
Their (as in, they only published it, only in Japan) last game that I cared about was called Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven, and the last one I played was a mediocre PS3 RPG called Enchanted Arms.

I'm not into the "Souls" fad.

You sct like you need 16Gb of ram in your handheld. It's a streaming device, calm down.
A streaming device sitting on top of a supposedly fully functional modern OS? Be realistic: you're gonna want a minimum of 8.... but if this is priced low enough so anyone should expect only 4gb (unlikely), then fair do's.

Guys, buying this is useless. You can play most of cloud gaming services with a controller on android, and that's what this console is, and android device with joysticks and buttons. You can also stream your PS4/PS5/XB1/XBS to your phone.
Also cloud gaming still needs to get better. I never played cloud gaming without much latency.

no bro if you add another gamepad on your phone it may break its screen or left stretch mark on your phone case

i agree 4gb of ram i doubt it can play genshin impact on normal or high setting
Remember its cloud gaming device....
It's not powerful.
PS5 or XSX or Steam Deck are better.
You'll finish paying more for it than playing natively on a ps5, xsx, steamdeck or PC because you'll need a very good wifi to have a playable experience...

If the price is good and the specs are enough to be a good emulation machine and it feels nice in the hands and it got hacked to run emulator it would be wildly successful

Don’t Logitech already sells add on to phones to add console like controls? I double this thing can beat that combo. Most phones that the targeted customer have would kick its ass
