I'm looking for an easy way to pull a Title ID from an .xci or .nsp file on my PC. I'm writing down the title IDs for all of my games so that whenever I download an update for a game, I can check before installing that the update belongs to the same region as the base game. Region isn't as big a deal on the Switch as it used to be, but I have been blindsided in the past when some games showed up twice on the homescreen (e.g. Yooka-Laylee) because multiple regional versions have been released for those games. It would be nice to confirm that all the updates and DLC in my collection belong to the games I have without having to find out through trial and error installations.
I've previously tried using Switch Backup Manager for this task because it displays title IDs, but there are way too many games that just aren't showing even being listed at all. I've tried updating the nswdb.com list, both via the menu and manually. The former didn't work (got an exception) and the latter made no difference. Unless someone can tell me how to get these games to show up in Switch Backup Manager, I'm willing to consider just a simple tool that can inspect as little as just a single file as long as it can be done on my PC. If there's a tool that can be called from the command line, then that'd be even better.
