Hey i worked out a way to downgrade from 5.1.0 via a windows 10 pc here is my video on how to do it

It's not even really downgrading. Its restoring a NAND dump that has a lower firmware. Regardless, not much point in downgrading from 5.1 to 5.0.2 especially since the homebrew launcher now works on all firmware

It is NOT fake. Done it myself.

Ignore the clowns who say its fake. No efuses were burned so downgrading is easy as long as you have a good dump. If kinda pointless.

Your efforts won't go unnoticed man, if this is usable for restoring a NAND dump in the future for similar situations this will be really nice to have! I take your word for it, just always good to show proof you're downgrading for things like this, many trolls about with their "fake news" releases and all.

This is interesting BUT if it does work @SG3xHERO make another video.

You say its ok to upgrade and downgrade so why not do it again, this time record and prove version before and after on the switch itself.

You said it no reason not to do it, so make the update video, proof is important.

Also it should be considered and spoken about in regards to updating and downgrading over and over.

If you think it really is OK then repeat the steps.

Nice. I don't understand why people are demanding proof, if they don't want to downgrade then that's fine. It's always nice to have the option even if 5.1.0 and 5.0.2 are now interchangeable.

I have one with 4.1.0 with dumped NAND so was wondering if I can update to latest, grab BotW DLC then downgrade back to 4.1.0. But I guess its not possible.

Don't do that, 5.1.0 will burn one more fuse, if you restore 4.1.0 it will check that and won't boot.

Yes, if you update from 5.0.0 or above. Fuses are burnt with each major version number increase except 3.0.1, which burns one fuse coming from 3.0.0.
