I have: Priiloader, Bootmii as IOS, some recovery HB apps, a BootMii backup.

But I also have some channels that may brick it: Some (2 or 3) were made quickly in CustomizeMii, with a bigger image then it should be, a few from other regions,
(mine is 4.3E, some are USA)
If needed, I can send you my backup file.

Without Bootmii as boot2 your Wii is not brick proof. And even with it, you can still catch a brick.
(BootMii as boot2 is only available on early revisions of Wii. If you don't have it (BootMii as boot2), you don't have the first revision of the Wii.)
Your main defense against the brick will be Priiloader, BootMii, NAND backup and common sense.

Bricks are always down to user error. Nothing will brick your console if it's used correctly so the advice to all is be sure you know what you are doing, not just the why.

We can all make silly mistakes from time to time but it's always the for the same reason, not properly reading up and jumping in. Have all the protection you want, it's still possible to brick if your gung ho lol however most cases can be recovered these days. Then you'll learn something! ;)

It's important to note that priiloader gets uninstalled when you install a new system menu. So if u ever do that, either manually or via disk/online update, be sure to reinstall it immediately.

Also, if u ever stub or otherwise mess up your system menu IOS (Eg. ios80 on 4.3 system menu) then even priiloader will fail to load

Edit: with priiloader intact u can recover from bad themes or channels

I will, just incase, forever install WADs to the SD Card, so if I install something bad, I just delete the WAD and save data. So from now I will only install WADs to the SD Card, and REALLY THINK when I am installing WADs and HB Apps (like "Do I REALLY need it?" and "SHOULD I download it?")
Also, what is the diffrence between softmodded and hardmodded.

I completely agree on this! I learned this from an old phone I modded. Broke it, learnt to be careful and fixed it.

I never mess with IOSes. I only installed some IOSes from cIOS, nothing else.

Basic rundown on your questions re different mods....

Softmod = software mod. Modifies and/or exploits the software only. Things like letterbomb. Simply drag and drop or access a downloaded file from sd card and run it. Basic pc knowledge required. End user friendly!

Hardmod = hardware mod. Modifies and/or exploits the hardware. Things like soldered chips direct to the motherboard. Hard is the important word if you don't have technical skills like soldering.
