how hard is it to manage injected NSO titles? adding games, backing up/restoring save files?

I am taking the dive and getting an OLED modded, was curious to know what I can do about all the save files I have built up over the years on other devices. is importing them to the Switch easy? is backing them up hard? what about when I want to add new games, do I have to worry about losing save files?

I also want to be able to remove some of the "special" NSO titles since I don't particularly care to have duplicates
