Well, "Stay on as low a firmware as possible" is always good advice.
Its not to bad.
Alan Wake is an ancient game now and if i get to play it two years from now it will still be ancient then.
So no love lost.
If it’s on YouTube and nowhere else, I’ll let you in on a little secret. There is this video on youtube showing a way to install PKGs on PS5 - the title is: "Installing an PKG on PS5 Sorry for the video quality"
However, the method is not shown. Can anyone figure it out?
Surprisingly it is, if we are talking about the same guy. "Jose Gonzalez" was the one who found the bug that let you access PSN on 4.03 without updating for quite a while and he is also the guy behind the "PS4 Auto PKG Installer".If it’s on YouTube and nowhere else, I’ll let you in on a little secret.
It’s not real.![]()
guess mrbean3500vr made videos that weren’t real then…oh waitIf it’s on YouTube and nowhere else, I’ll let you in on a little secret.

If you find a magical video on YouTube that offers untold riches on the other end of the rainbow of affiliate links, it’s fake. Follow dodgy tutorials on YouTube with no documentation at your own peril. The person you mention wasn’t a nobody, but rather a well-known and active member of the modding community - the same cannot be said about the sea of randoms selling snake oil to suckers online. It’s “real” when it’s evidenced, documented and can be reproduced.guess mrbean3500vr made videos that weren’t real then…oh wait
then do your research before calling something “not real” then. jose is also a member of playstation hacking community. If you find a magical video on YouTube that offers untold riches on the other end of the rainbow of affiliate links, it’s fake. We don’t even know if we’re talking about the same person. For now we’re talking about “a video on YouTube”, as @Arclite is yet to confirm or deny whether his find is from a legitimate source or just one of the millions of “click here for jailbreak” videos on the web. @Nakamichi is only guessing.then do your research before calling something “not real” then. jose is also a member of playstation hacking community.

"you looked into a vague title of a YouTube video’’ ah assumptions. I saw it on his own YouTube channel linked from psxhax to make sure if such video was there. dont know why you feel to need make long comments. I’ve been on youtube a very long time so i know.Oh, good - you looked into a vague title of a YouTube video. Good to know. Thank you for your service lol.
I will reiterate - any weird YouTube videos that purport to do something thought currently impossible are to be treated with a giant pinch of salt until more information is available. This has been the de facto approach of the community for as long as I can remember. If the method is legit then it will be explained and documented, until then it’s just a “bad quality video”. If the source is indeed verified as a long-term community contributor with some clout, it lends it some credibility, but even such community members sometimes pull various pranks, falling into infamy in the process. For now, as it stands, we don’t even have a link to the video in question, so a healthy dose of skepticism is advised.
