Nintendo have given us the first glimpse at the upcoming Super Mario Bros. movie with a poster showcasing Mario, who is surrounded by Toad's looking up at Peach's castle which adorns the top of a very Mario-esque rounded hill off in the distance.

The Untitled Mario film which is releasing in April 2023 is currently in the works by Illumination who were noticeably responsible for the Despicable Me movies.

This comes alongside an announcement for an upcoming Nintendo Direct that will be focusing on the The Super Mario Bros. Movie and is scheduled for this Thursday - 1:05 p.m. PT / 20:05 GMT.

As a fellow rendering artist, I love the lighting and the atmosphere here.
Also, like I said, I'm still not hoping for anything special or anything perfect. But, until I see some clips,
