Help with switch mod (chipped)

Hello,
I have a switch (Super Smash Bros edition) and I have 5 SDs for all my backups.
I had it modded by someone a long time ago with a Xecuter chip but since they're gone I have no idea what to do next since I can't backup or play recent games. I read some guides on here but I'm not that technical.
I want to softmod it so I can use game mods too.I think I'm on FW version 10.
i knew how awoo installer worked but that's about it.
Can someone help me with this (ELI5)

First you'll need to determine if the chip is running the original SX firmware or another type of firmware. Boot up the Switch and post a picture of the no SD card screen

Its running the original (latest) SX firmware, I updated it once before they went away

OK you will want to update it to the latest HWFly firmware, I am not sure if I am allowed to link to it but it is easy to locate with Google

After updating I would suggest using the HATS pack, this one I know I am not allowed to link to

If you are using emuMMC you will need to use Hekate to convert it to be compatible with Atmosphere, I have never done this myself but I believe it's just a button you press in the emuMMC menu of Hekate

Could you DM if possible? I can find alot of things online but im very afraid to brick my device so all my backups are lost, thats why I let someone else chip it and explain me how to backup my game and use awoo to put things and mods in the right directory.
Im not that technical, if you're willing to take the time to ELI5 for me because i will turn it into a paperweight if I do it myself lol
