Emulation Help with new Atmosphere 1.4.0

Hi All,

I'm trying to setup Atmospere 1.4.0 on a brand new sd card with a hidden partition on FAT32. I am following this guide - https://www.cfwaifu.com/switch-emunand/

But I see the latest Atmosphere has been changed from fusee-primary.bin to just fusee.bin. My question is does it still use the fusee-secondary.bin and do I need to add this into the heakte_ipl.ini file as suggested in the above guide?

Open hekate_ipl.ini in Notepad and add the following lines to the file then save
[Stock (SYSNAND)]
fss0=bootloader/payloads/fusee-secondary.bin
stock=1
emummc_force_disable=1
icon=bootloader/res/icon_switch.bmp

Other thing, is Atmosphere 1.4.0 stable now? Am I doing the right thing and updating the CFW (Emunand) to 15.0.0 and use Atmosphere 1.4.0 or should I update to a lower CFW and use a lower version of Atmosphere?

Since it mentions "fusee-secondary.bin" im gonna have to say this guide is very outdated

Use one of these instead: https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/ or https://rentry.org/CFWGuides
but do not mix guides, I would advise wiping the card and starting over with one of the better guides

Thank you, yes I was planning to wipe the card and start a fresh

I also have a SXOS dongle and read you can use this to inject the fusee.bin payload directly? Is this still the case?

My G. As someone born with a brain and never got my Switch banned yet, please heed these words. I see you want to use emunand solution. You must go and use the Incognito feature to wipe your console ID in an app called Tinfoil. This is crucial for setting up auto updaters and installing homebrew NSPs and everything else you don't want big N to see.

You must go and use the Incognito feature to wipe your console ID in an app called Tinfoil. This is crucial for setting up auto updaters and installing homebrew NSPs and everything else you don't want big N to see.

No need of Incognito, as you can just use Exosphere.

Well....thank you for that but i've been using SXOS for many years now and never played online and don't plan on using it online or using the HBG shop to download games.

I am pretty savvy when it comes to things like this and as far as i'm aware i'm still not banned by big N ;-)
