Help with hacking a 2ds (not an xl version)

So I'm trying to hack my 2ds to circumvent to eshop closure.

I've been using the guide on 3ds.hacks.guide in order to achieve this.

Anyway everything has been going smoothly so far (I believe) but as I got to the step where I have to install boot9strap onto the 2ds I got a warning that said:
"SigHaxed FIRM was not installed!"
"Check lower screen for info."

On the lower screen it says:
ARM9LoaderHax - not installed
MicroSD Card - 4MB/3716MB free
and the rest underneath this is labeled as "not started".

If anyone can help that would be great

So I should delete some of the stuff occupying my sd card and then try again to so if it works?

Yes, SafeB9SInstaller requires 16 MiB[1] free, though I'd recommend clearing up around a gigabyte or two so you can make a NAND backup if possible.

Okay I've done what was said and I managed to finalize my setup.
Can anyone help me understand how to use this set-up? Like how to download games and stuff to use? I'd really appreciate any help!!

There's also quite a lot of homebrew games which can be installed from Universal-Updater
