Emulation Help? PSX games with original quality & resolution with Retroarch??

Any way to play psx games with their original quality and resolution/ increase the game quality/res using retroarch?

Castlevania SOTN doesn’t look like how it should look.

check if you have any shader enabled
also make sure you have bilinear filtering disabled in the main video settings if you want, that filter makes the image a little bit soft/blurry... I never liked it lol

Actually, I’ve tried both on and off and the quality and resolution still don’t look like how they look for psx in YT vids gameplays etc

On contrary, if you need to increase quality to maximum, there is a recent emulator called DuckStation. It achieved something new, exactly it get rid of shaky 3D polygons and their sort correction, like completely.
UPD: it is not for 3DS though...

I haven't used the 3DS version of Retroarch so much, check if there's a "integer scaling" option in video settings and see how it looks

Hey bro, I actually just ended up downloading it on my psp. I heard it has more features too.
But I have one more issue. I made a post about it too. I downloaded the dlc of king of cards for shovel knight and king knight’s still not playable

check the base game and DLC title ID, they should be very similar
