I'd honestly be all for an Adventure 1 remake, just so long that proper time and care is taken into ironing out the game's rough edges. The game admittedly has a lot in common with 06, meaning Sonic Team needs to take extra care not to screw anything up, lest the game gets labeled by modern critics as "the next 06," plunging the series's reputation down even further. Cutscenes would probably need to be completely re-done with the newer voice cast, and levels would need to be tweaked or redesigned, either to get rid of minor design flaws or to better reflect more modern hardware.
