A live-action TV series adaptation of the video game The Last of Us was announced by HBO in 2020 and last year, the main cast was announced. However, we haven't had a proper look at the series until now. HBO Max aired a new video with snippets of shows upcoming to its streaming service and it features the very first public footage of The Last of Us TV series (starting at 1:40).

While it's a short teaser, it gives an idea about how the main cast look like in character. The video also mentions that the series will air sometime next year. Craig Mazin is responsible for the script and executive production along with Neil Druckmann for The Last of Us TV series.

I can't judge much from this clip, but I'm gonna give her a chance, she's proved herself as a great actor in previous shows.

Yeah, I've heard from other people that she's great on Game of Thrones (which I've not watched). I believe people when they say she's a great actress; just a bit worried that maybe this particular role is miscast. But I guess we'll see.

Haven't played enough modern Tomb Raider to comment. I really loved the Uncharted games, but the story doesn't get close to how compelling I found the TLOU story.

I just think TR & Uncharted both have a better premise that would translate very well to a TV show format. The Indiana Jones-y type of adventures, search for treasures etc. There's a goldmine of material..
Going with an original story (for either) would also work..

Ever since BCS ended there's been nothing quite as good or worthwhile watching, but this will fill the gap.
