A live-action TV series adaptation of the video game The Last of Us was announced by HBO in 2020 and last year, the main cast was announced. However, we haven't had a proper look at the series until now. HBO Max aired a new video with snippets of shows upcoming to its streaming service and it features the very first public footage of The Last of Us TV series (starting at 1:40).

While it's a short teaser, it gives an idea about how the main cast look like in character. The video also mentions that the series will air sometime next year. Craig Mazin is responsible for the script and executive production along with Neil Druckmann for The Last of Us TV series.

Well, maybe it's not long enough, but they can certainly do that with Metal Gear Solid 4 - it has over 8 hours of cut scenes.

Haven't played enough modern Tomb Raider to comment. I really loved the Uncharted games, but the story doesn't get close to how compelling I found the TLOU story.

I loved both games. Will go into the series with semi-low expectations and hopefully be in for a treat. If not, there's no loss or disappointment for me as I'll simply shrug it off and watch something else. Won't know without giving it a shot, and I'm personally more than willing to do that.

I can't judge much from this clip, but I'm gonna give her a chance, she's proved herself as a great actor in previous shows.
