Not sure if this has been posted, however: FROM TX (SXOS Core or SX Lite users)

To all if you are using SX Core or SX Lite, do NOT use Tinfoil's Incognito feature. This will cause a brick and we're not sure it's even reversable. For those that bricked their units with ChoiDujourNX, sit tight. We have a solution in the works.

is there any help for installing and running hbg? i tried with and without using cling wrap when i click tinfoil nro from hbmenu, it splashes (checking software) prompt then get error 2155-8007.

something stupid is going on...have HBG Shop/Tinfoil...its on R55.....but everytime it updates it says nca error or invalid....so i got newest Tinfoil NSP...deinstalled tinfoil nsp installed the new one (its the R56 one)......when i launch it says R55 and same crap happens....how can i solve that?

Have Sx OS and tried to install this from the .nro from the website.
Prior deleted every tinfoil folder.
When opening the .nro it shows the switch logo and just switches to the home menu. The tinfoil app seems to be installed, but even after restarting the app just starts and without an error message goes back to home menu.

Any help?

Is there any way to actually exit the app on the current version?
The HOME button is completely disabled and exiting the app doesn't really close it.

Another noob question. What is the difference between Tinfoil and HBG Shop? Is it just the possibility to download games/updates/DLC from the Switch itself?

Another noob question. What is the difference between Tinfoil and HBG Shop? Is it just the possibility to download games/updates/DLC from the Switch itself?

The only difference between HBG and Tinfoil is HBG is Tinfoil with links to a repository of games, updates, and DLC.

Exactly. Anyone could just just paste the hbg url into a vanilla Tinfoil and has HBG.

Btw I "solved" my home button problem:
The home button is locked when there's a download going on. Abort it in the queue if u have to close Tinfoil for any reason.

I have two switches in my household. 1 running atmosphere, and one with sx os paid software and when I install hbg/tinfoil 7.01- I still do not have access to pictures of the games under the new games section, it just displays table format.
Also agreeing with Reecey - I cant find any info about where there is a charge for hbg shop for any kind of membership

I found the tier structure and donation information on the HBG discord.

I was good on my switch lite until R58- the most recent update. for some reason any file downloaded through it destroys my EmuNand. R57 was perfect though

This could be a software issue but for me this behavior (on a v1 Switch atmosphere emunand) was a prelude to my SD card losing the ability to write altogether. (i.e. it wore out its writes and locked itself) Now I don't use emunand anymore and have had no issues.
