Hardware GBA SP AGS-001 Sound Extremely Quiet

Hey all,

The other day I was playing my GBA SP when the speaker suddenly went off. I thought it was a minor glitch with Yoshi's Island so I powered the console off and on again. 'No' sound was playing so I turned the volume slider down and up again to no prevail. I then put my ear to the speaker to listen for any nnoise what so ever and I was able to hear the game's sound fx and music perfectly fine, but just extremely quietly. Any ideas?

maybe its just oxidated,
open and clean the contacts if you have the tools
