Gba boot screen

I was playing new Super Mario advance 4 on my gba original glacier then it suddenly went to the boot up screen and booted up the game while I was playing a level in game. Why is that though?

Possibly a loose power connection. Your batteries might need adjusted, or the power switch might need taken apart and cleaned.

Oh ok i think it's my rechargable batteries then that is the issue since it's only happened one time,i got the Gba in good working order with no issues acording to the seller so I don't think the power switch is dirty. Thanks!

    I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart.
