Gaming Gameboy Advance SP AGS-001 - Not charging / No charge light LED at all

Hi All,

All of a sudden my gameboy advance sp AGS-001 model has stopped charging all together.

when i plug the charger in the bottom LED doesn't even come on for a split second but the charger does have a green light on it to say its pushing electric to the unit.

I have removed the battery from the unit - left out for a minute or two , reinserted and tried again no joy.

Any way i have ordered a brand new GBA SP battery + charger from amazon to see if this solves the issue.

Any ideas?

wierdly i just checked mine now after the battery going completely flat and leaving it on change for half an hour the charge indicator LED has now gone red and started to charge the battery.

so for me its either the battery or charger being wierd.

my gameboy advance sp hadnt really been used for over half a year and just started playing the pokemon games again.

the charger i use is just one that was £5 off ebay years back an non OEM one.

ill report back shortly.
