Gaming Fire emblem games do not save normally on GBA flash cart

Hi everyone. There is some kind person who could help me. Playing 'fire emblem 7/8' I can't save normally on the microSD. After a short time the save disappears and I can't continue playing. I know those games use a special FeRAM to save often and quickly. Is there a way to chance the save format with some tool or remove ingame autosave function? Thanks in advance.

What flash cart is it?

For the EZFlash Omega then fire emblem's constant/every step save function was disabled way back

Thanks for answer me. It is the cheap and low quality supercard microSD, bought specially to play feuniverse FE hacks. E.g. Burdened Crown saves normally but Vision Quest seems to save, but after some time the saved game disappears, both in-battle and between chapters.

Hello there. I have solved the save issue on the Supercard SD. Seems that save files from different Fire Emblem Hacks interfere with each other if within the same directory. Now that each F.H.Hack is in its own directory, save works fine and does not disappear anymore. I have verified with Vision Quest, Elibian Nights, Crimson Arms, Road to Ruin, Resonance, Last Promise: everything is allright now.

I wait the appropriate amount of time 10 plus seconds before turning off the game. Upon restarting however the save is still at chapter 1-1. I can see where it generates the initial save file but it does not allow me to update it. Any suggestions? Troubleshooting is time consuming as I constantly have to complete chapter 1-1. Thanks in advance for any help!

I'm sorry, but as you will have read above I am referring to another flashcart type and I have no experience with this one. Try to consult the section 'GBA - Flashing Hardware and Software', where EZ FLASH OMEGA issues are often addressed or create a new thread there where you explain the problem, someone there will certainly be able to help you.
