I've tried and game ignores changes.

No it do work if i change the gamesettings in the save, u can test it do MasterVolume=0 and u have no sound more.

can any see a difference

Quality=VQ_HIGH

it seems like it would be more efficient to repack the xci. Do you know of a good guide to het started with extracting the contents from xci? I think I already see a thread here for a vbf packing tool.

I tried the Euro xci, when language is set to english, english voice only, when i set it to chinese, it still give me english voice and english text. Only when I change the language to japanese i got japanese vocie but it is japanese text too... why on earthy they didn't include a language changer

Because they don't want people to understand each other. They only want people to understand their product. $$$

There might be actually a way to get these settings ingame by replacing the menu swf file.
That file is in one of the VBF files, so you gonna be stuck rebuilding those.
I believe it was metamenu, and luckily that file is small.

Can you change the language too English in the iOS version ?. .
