anyone know where I can find the FF7 TEX image tool? Ninostyle finished all the chibi models and I want to update the mod to include these models but I can't seem to find the program I used to reduce the resolutions of the models to prevent the crashes from happening on the switch

I don't think it's possible to mod background textures on the switch version

great job! Does this work on an actual switch without any crashes? Or did you only test it on an emulator on pc?

awesome job but I noticed you're missing some npcs...npc 72 73, 76, 77, 78, 81, 82, 84, 99 and 100. Maybe you have an older version of ninostyle's models.

I will continue to test your mod for any crashes. So far everything is good and I just made it to Kalm.

Btw, how did you get the Arisen battle textures to work?

I figured out how to use Omnislash enemies and bosses that work with New Threat 2.0.995 Couldn't change out Guard Scorpion as it caused a crash. I put the Nino character models and battle models in instaed as I like them better. The way I figured it out was to rebuild the game with both mods merged into the game.

So, I'm only discovering this forum and everything here now. The OP link is dead, and the first download that actually works (posted by Ryft on page 6) includes the ChaOS field models and (to my understanding) a totally remixed soundtrack under the name "Anxious Heart" - two things I don't want; I like the basic field models and the original soundtrack. What files do I have to delete in order to get that specifically working? I don't understand much here, all I understand is that I want New Threat's gameplay tweaks, maybe some minor graphical changes as well, but I DO NOT WANT REALISTICALLY PROPORTIONED FIELD MODELS. Those just look wrong to me.

If anyone's still around to help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Would you happen to a version of this with New Threat 1.5 instead. Heard that version is more of a new experience that a rebalancing mod. I looked through the previous posts but all the New Threat 1.5 links are dead.

So far i have played Project Omnislash mod and i love it but today i decited to test the New threat 2.0995 by Ssingledad7 and my gosh how do i just love the character models on this one. So close to original but more detail. Awasome. So is this version of new threat now the best one to go with or is there a even better one i should go? I have seen at least 4 different versions on this threat and it's a bit confusing which one is the best one.

Edit: While i wait someone to aswer my question i made a minor tweaks to the 2.0995 build. I replaced the music with the music of Remake version and while the enchanted sounds do sound cool i still prefer the original sounds so i deleted those. Now i just add the max gil cheat for maximum shopping spree and save anywhere cheat and i can once again start my adventure. 🙂

Hi! Thank you for this but I don't know why it can't works for me. I already put it on atmosphere/contents/title ID/romfs folder but it didn't seem to work. On the folder I have cheat folder also and I tried to get rid of it but it also didn't work. On the folder do I have to get rid of ff7 folder and should I go resources & working dir or I still keep the ff7 folder?

Hi! Do you have latest version of FF7 installed on your Switch? I don't know does it matter but mine is and i have no issues with the mod. Before this one i used Omnislash and it worked also great but i know that some people has these issues that mod does not work and so far nothing has helped to those work but this one thing came to mind. And could that also matter what region your FF7 is? 🤔
