Hello! I got a EZFlash Jr. a couple days back. However saving games takes forever. It does complete after a while but it's a very long wait. The time it takes to save can go up to 3 minutes. I have tried many SD cards including a Sandisk Ultra PLUS 32GB, formatted them to FAT32 with 32kb allocation unit size, and even tried 3 other Gameboy systems, a DMG, GBC, and GBA. The "BACKUPSAVE" process just takes forever. Other people on my Discord say the games save in under 10 seconds max. Strangly enough this only effects NEW saves. Pre-existing saves save almost instantly.
Things I have tried:
Many other SD cards of many sizes
Different allocation sizes
Formatting under Linux
Formatting using guiformat and the official SD formatter
Reflashing the newest firmware and kernel. (FW4 1.04e)
Using other Gameboys all with freshly charged batteries
Crying and begging
Am I missing something or doing something wrong? I set the cart up exactly like the tutorials online showed.
