So I have read all the similar threads to this topic and still do not see a clear solution like others I have had my share of issues with EZ Flash Omega for GBA. I use a SanDisk Ultra 32GB Micro SD Card. Formatted it a hundred times with windows and was getting the SD Card error issue with blue screen initially. I then used the standardized formatting tool recommended and whalla that worked. Where I am still having issues now is the limit to what seems to be the folder i put the games in, I have like 2600 or so GBA Roms on this micro sd but it only will show 513. I don't believe there is a next page function because it always stops at 513. I checked on windows some of the files which show up vs which are not showing up and no differences in "archiving", "read only" etc. All the ones suggested to be checked or unchecked are there. I changed the names on some which were not showing up because they had numbers etc. Would it be better to break this up into smaller folders instead of one large folder? Micro SD is formatted to Fat32 with 32 KB blocks. Wondering if that is the limited on how many actually are showing up.

Ok so moved some of the games not showing up in the original folder I created and sure enough those showed up in the second folder. So my guess is a limitation on folder size on micro sd with formatting?

I am having a simular issue, i have 1084 GBA games split across 27 folders ranging from #-Z and when i open the GBA folder it apears empty on the gameboy but it shows the files on my PC. Ive been racking my brains for hours trying different things. If you guys have any suggestions id appreciate it, Thanks

Did you unzip the files directly to the sd card? If so instead unzip them to your pc then copy the unzipped ROM files to the sd card.

Please check the file attributes, the readonly attribute will hide the rom in kernel. also missing the "ready for archiving" attribute will get same result.

How about remove the space dash space in the folder name? or remove every space, reduce the total length of the folder to 2 digits.

I re named the folder to "03" and nothing changed, i tried with letters instead of numbers i re named the folder "GA" and still nothing changes, i dont think its anything to do with the folder names.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I have discovered the solution, open CMD as administrator, type:
attrib -r -s c:\test
if like me you have #-Z listed in the folder then you have to do this for each individual folder
for example i had to type:
attrib -r -s e:\03\#
attrib -r -s e:\03\A
attrib -r -s e:\03\B
attrib -r -s e:\03\C
attrib -r -s e:\03\D.... etc
