EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition does not save gamesave

Hi guys, good to join the community, I'm new here and this is my first post.

Few days ago I picked up a EZ Flash Omega Definitive Edition, I've confgured it following the official steps described in ezflashomega web page.

I'm currently running on: Kernel 1.03 and firmware 6.0.

Also I've installed some few games and they are working just fine, my issue is unfortunately w/ Castlevania Circle Of The Moon game, sadly for me, playing this game in OG hardware was the main reason I bought this card.

The issue is that the games does not save, when I jump in a warp room, save the game, hold 5 secs before shutting down (in fact as part of testing I saved once and left the GBA turned on idle for almost 20 minutes) but nothing seems to work, I restart the GBA and re-run the game but there's no save file.

I have auto save enable in the card options, the .sav file is being created but for some reason the game does not pick it up during gameplay.

On the other hand if I create a save file using the key combo it works, but I dont wan't to play the game like this.

I checked my settings, surfed like one million web pages and tried everything but so far it does not work.

The other two Castlevania games (dawn of sorrow and harmony of dissonance ) works just fine, so I'm not sure why COTM is giving me this hard time.

Any advice on how I can solve this would be super appreciated,

Oh lastly I even try to contact support on ezflashomega web page I sent a message describing the issue but so far no feedback.

sounds like u have a patched rom here is the hashs for a clean no-intro rom that saves just fine

You can check the saver folder on the sd card. It is possible that there exists a size 0 sav file with the same file name as your circle of the moon rom. Delete this file and try again.

If a mde file with the same name exists at the same time, delete it as well.

HI, I just checked, the sv file has a size of 32 kb, the save file name is the same as the gba rom, excep for the extension off course, please advice, regards

1. Any Pokemon games. no matter red, green, ruby, what ever.
2. Final Fight One
3. Zelda Minish Cap
