Homebrew Discussion Egg NS, a Switch emulator for Android devices

I can confirm this is legit btw I have the Gamesir X2
And yeah it was a bit pricey but it works with other Emulators although if you can't configure it for other emu's like PS1 for instance O will be X
X Will be O Triangle being square etc... That's due to switches buttons being weird were B is A, A is B, X is Y and Y is X and that config is same for every other emu but so far sonic mania, Pokémon Sword are the mainly only 2 games I have had run properly on this and yeah it gets updates fairly regularly I'm gonna try Luigi's Mansion 3 and some other games see what can and can't run I have a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G but upgrading soon to a Huawei mate 40 Pro it has amazing CPU and GPU power so maybe more games will run better I seen someone nearly load Doom fine though on YouTube
If anyone wants to know more let me know and will test other games

I'm using one plus 6T and it runs like shit... But ill upgrade in March. It's somewhat still playable with some games. It's a really good joystick though. I'm paying dolphin and it's perfect.

Yeah it's not bad also what you upgrading to because I think to get some what a decent experience out of this you will probably need a Snapdragon 888 or Kirin 9000 as for exynos don't bother but I currently have a SD855 and sonic mania is playable pretty much full speed as for Pokémon Sword full speed in buildings then I tank to 4fps or so and then hit low memory issue with ram

But in fairness it runs pretty well in comparison to my PC running this though

One plus 9 pro will be coming out in march/April with a Leica camera apparently. Will definitely be a better device for Egg NS.

Try Guacamelee and Yonder... They run good.

I just tried Luigi's mansion 3 it loads gets to main menu and crashes due to ram issue didn't make it In game I want to try diablo 3 tbh

Your phone uses a snapdragon 845. That's the problem. Egg ns is designed for phones with snapdragon 865 and up.

it also works pretty great for the xbox game pass streaming. just played a bit of halo 5 for the first time since that game came out. only one minor issue, dead zone is not the best, but not the worst either.

I would say, the controller is worth the money. The software (egg ns) needs work.

What's the highest firmware with egg ns? I'm trying Mario kart 8 and it doesn't work at all. Any ideas? Super Mario 3d all star either. I'll keep trying more just for fun..

I think it's just a matter of it being a hard device to emulate on smart phones. almost every 3D based game will crash, run slow, or not even start.

Yeah I've tried a few more and no dice. The list of compatible games on egg ns is really small. I'm just wondering if there are more compatible ones then on that list? I'll keep testing a few more. But like you say it seems to be the older non 3d games that run better.

strangly enough, pokemon lets go will play just fine, but almost any other game will die on me. i managed to get dragon ball xenoverse 2 to boot, but its super slow and the audio sounds worse than nails on a chalk bard.
