Dual y-cable setup issues

My setup:
2x 2.5" HDD's with y-splitters going to AC power (both hard drives spinning and working)
Aroma CFW on latest FW.
These are my vwii patches

vIOS249[56] (rev 21010 Info: d2x-v10beta52-vWii): NAND Access USB 2.0
vIOS250[57] (rev 21010 Info: d2x-v10beta52-vWii): NAND Access USB 2.0
vIOS251[58] (rev 21010 Info: d2x-v10beta52-vWii): NAND Access USB 2.0

Ive hidden the Wiiu Formatted drive via Rstealth.
I have Wiiflow setup with complete romset of Wii and GC games. It works great if just the single vwii USB is plugged in. If i have both plugged in, the games appear, but it freezes at wiiflow loading screen. If i force the CIOS to 251, it loads but the Wiimotes get disconnect, and even are completely disconnected if i reboot the Wii U (i have to pair them again.

Any ideas what the problem could be or how i can fix it?

    I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart.
