The latest version of DOSBox-X (0.83.19) has been released. Apart from DOS games (the focus of original DOSBox) DOSBox-X officially different types of DOS software and Windows 3.x and 9x, as well as additional systems like DOS/V, TTF CJK, NEC PC-98 system, and more. It also tries to implement accurate emulations as possible also to help with new DOS developments. DOSBox-X is very feature-rich, , and you can find more examples of its unique features in the DOSBox‐X’s Feature Highlights page.

This new version (0.83.19) also brings many improvements and fixes compared with the previous version, notably improved international support and many more. The release notes for DOSBox-X 0.83.19 (including the change history) is available from this page:

You can download the latest packages for your platform (Windows, Linux, macOS, or DOS) in the DOSBox-X homepage, which is available from:

For example, if you use Windows there are now 32-bit and 64-bit installers:

32-bit installer for Windows XP and later

64-bit installer for Windows Vista and later

Linux Flatpak and Fedora packages have been released as well. The Flatpak package is officially available from: DOSBox-X Flathub page

    I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart.
