Hacking Does the region of the 3DS matter if you're going to hack it?

I saw a JP 3DS for a reasonable price on EBay that I am considering grabbing, but I don't know if it being JP regionwise will matter at all?

    I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart.
