My friend's "Old 2DS" ABXY buttons aren't working properly, after some research we decided to buy a new ABXY board, but the ones we could find says that it is for New 3DS XL. I want to know if they would work.
Hardware Does the ABXY circuit board of a New 3DS XL works on a Old 2DS?

It seems that the o2DS doesn't have a separate ABXY board, they're just on the motherboard itself:
So no, an n3DS XL board will not work. You may be able to improve it by cleaning off the metal pads with Isopropyl Alcohol and/or replacing the rubber parts however.

I just dislike that they don't let me choose the voices before the game starts. Happened with botw as well, had to change to japanese and restart. -
