Hmm.. Might the tube itself aging.. Though i'm not a tv technician or anything.. It could also be components that control the color reproduction they could be failing, though i'm not sure if it's a thing for crts or not..
Good luck to you anyways..
Is this effect seen when there is bright image or only on blank black screen? If yes then you can try to enter service menu and adjust image position and it's width/height to move this line away.
First and most common, the Yoke moved needs to get recalibrated by manually centering it.
Second possibility, it might be a faulty component on the board that handles the vertical lining. Might be a fuse, a capacitor, dirt, anything that interferes with the signal.
Third one (very unlikely), possibly a service problem, needs special Service Menu code. Search for it and input the button combination with original Remote.
Search for a V-Blank option and change the settings
Fourt possibility, the Earth's magnetic field might be causing this. Solve the problem by moving your TV elsewhere.
Fifth possibility, might need to recalibrate potentiometers on the board of the TV.

Hello yes it’s a 27 inch. Yeah it’s sort of annoying at times it only displays on a dark color though but when playing nes games the left corner seems taken off or chopped of a bit. How would I recalibrate the yoke?

Yes, it only shows on blank dark screen. When the image is bright it doesn’t. Also when playing nes games I can see on the left that the image is slightly chopped of a bit

NES chopped off in left corner?
Are you sure it's not because the NES utilizes Horizontal Overscan?
Also, are you sure it happens with all consoles too? Otherwise it means it's just the Horizontal Overscan coming from the NES.
There's a possibility that lowering Brightness and Contrast in your TV menu might solve this issue, as bright pictures might be too much (energy) for the CRT board, so also check that.
If you still believe it's a calibration problem, you have, first, to see if your TV has potentiometers to modulate Horizontal/Vertical scanning.
It MUST have some potentiometers.
If there's none, you must move around the yoke while the TV is ON... and you must know what that means, no?

Oh dear god, I'm fearing an answer in probably 1 month.
So, happy new year I guess.
Anyway, I think I might've missed seeing your picture.
That bowing on the left side is called Pincushion distortion. And happens when a capacitor in the board that handles Horizontal image is dried or leaking.
DO NOT MOVE YOUR YOKE.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MOVE POTENTIOMETERS OR SERVICE MENU SETTINGS.
Search for a service manual of your TV model (I think you have a SONY KV27FS-100 ??? ... LOOKS LIKE IT) And look which board is the one in charge of Horizontal picture.
With a multimeter look for the bad capacitor, but to be honest, it should be in plain sight given the amount of deformation in your picture.
Replace capacitor(s) with new ones. And make sure you use good electrolytic capacitors.
