They did, DOA died almost a DECADE ago, this now is just a cash-grab shitty game going only for fanservice and getting money from fans who wanted more DOA. In case you haven't heard, the season pass for this is almost 100$, yes, a HUNDRED dollars! That alone shows what they made this game for...

I know, notice how it's called "Season Pass 1" though? You know more shit is coming and it will end up like DOA5 most likely

PS: Also, the DOA5 situation is why I said "decade", to me DOA died with Paradise on PSP (even if it was spin-off with fanservice it was FUN at least), everything past that is just shit. DOA5 and on I just don't consider them as part of the series.

What's worse is that they locked behind it one of the most popular characters in the series just to get more people to pay up, since besides that character the entire Season Pass 1 is just skins (which you can get for free through mods), so yeah...

DOA at this point is just a huge money grab for Koei. I like the new mechanics 6 introduced and I can live without the costumes but the DLC shit is ridiculous lmao. Not to mention they've delayed lobbies and this game's main attraction is the online it seems.

It's sad but a bunch of fighters just rely on their online portion nowadays. DOA games usually only have the same people playing after a few months of the game being out. Will I get it? Yeah maybe, but I'm waiting for a price drop for sure.
