ROM Hack Discussion Dark Souls: Switch A/B Behavior

Just as title says it's there anyway to switch A/B buttons behavior for the menu. I know people going to say to just get use to it but is there anyway to so it. This little "bug" it's making the game really not fun for me

Update:
After doing some research the game has the menu buttons but it's grey out.

Also the japanJap version of the game has the A/B buttons in regular way

Same there is no reason why the A/B has to be switched

I am about to do it. Everyone says dark souls it's a master piece and I guess I'll never experience it

I don't get why literally every other control and button can be remapped, but A/B are too much.

Really great game ruined by the incompetence of whoever ported it.

This has been the game format since 2011, why would you want to change it?? As a ds veteran im glad they did it this way.

Man, am I the only one here not having played the game on the Switch and wondering WHICH WAY it is that you are talking about?

I guess you mean that contrary to all other versions the right one of those button is for confirming and the lower one is for canceling?

I have like 200 hours on PC with xbox controller but I must not have played for a very long time, because I also felt the buttons were reversed. Lack of muscle memory then...

Another major issue with this port is how compressed the audio is, all the music sounds horrible.

I just saw they post it. but dont know the result successful or not.
Maybe others who know can provide more info..

After a long search, except for some reddit thread or other, nothing mentions the swap button, tweaked files or other, nothing at all, the only thing I find are user complaints.

I think it's time to get Disassembler this game
And to find a way to do it on our own

For me this proofs that the guys whom ported Dark souls to Switch never played any Nintendo console. B button cannot be accept/ok in Nintendo world!
I can't play Dark souls and other games on same day on my Switch. I dedicate 1 day for Dark souls because of the buttons.

The problem is not knowing everyone's preference...
Why make a menu to remap buttons, without leaving the choice to do so? Shaded menu?????
The question is, if you gave the player the choice, that thread wouldn't exist and everyone would be happy.
I know that on psx jap the buttons are reversed compared to psx Eu or had
As the superfamicom differs from the snes Eu
This has been the case for more than 20 years
It is 2018 this darksoul menu exists and is useless...

Option is disabled in Dark souls...We can change other buttons but A and B is big NO.
