current state of homebrew on the PS5 (JUNE 5 2022)

i would like to know the current state of the PS5 homebrew scene as of june 5 2022 and whether it would be a good idea to buy a brand new one with hopes of using it for homebrew and such in our current year as well as what you can currently do with a modded console as of june 5 2022 i am also making this post as a landmark of sorts for people with interest in buying a ps5 for this same purpose

the chance you come across a new ps5 4.03 is very slim nowadays and there is still no public jb
but ask in a week again MAYBE the flow discloses something around the 9. of june

sadly yes even if we had a jb the scene is none existent at the moment

This isn't exactly what you wanted to hear but you're better off buying a new PC or Raspberry Pi if you want to run code which has not been signed by Sony.

If you want to pirate games then use a PC. Buying an old PS5 is probably more expensive than buying PS5 games.

I'm thinking of buying a PS5 when they release a Slim model.
