Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

So havent used my switch for some time... I want to update it. I am using old version of reinx and I am on fw 7.01. should I update reinx first and then the switch? OR the other way Around? Can I go from 7.01 till latest in one go?

Unfortunately ReiNX has been archived by its owner so you will have to switch to another CFW. Regardless, CFW should always be updated before firmware because newer versions of CFW will support both your current and newer firmware versions but the same can't be said for older versions of CFW.

Daybreak would be the best choice it made by atmos. I know atmos has been updated for makio but not sure if it's safe to use daybreak yet??

I used it twice with SX core installed and EMUnand : no problem but be careful as you have to use EMUnand. If you're using SysNand, do not use it.

I use SXOS, does Daybreak works with SXOS too? And does it works like choidujournx?

you will need to boot atmo to use it, but it is much safer for chipped consoles than choidujourNX.

I've helped several people unbrick who used choidujourNX and not daybreak on their chipped consoles

Use Daybreak to update, ChoidujourNX is outdated.

yeah tht seem to work, searche11d it four hours and gave up. I then tried the homebru store and it was not there. I went back to the installed nro's and saw it was already on there. Sometimes the hardest thing to find are always the in the most obvious places.

When I try to open Choidujour I have a black screen with this error
"The software was closed because an error occured"
And then I am kicked out back to the Switch menu

I know it's old but is it still supposed to work on recent OS version ?

Use daybreak to update your firmware.

ChoiDuJourNX is considered obsolete now. Use Daybreak, as previously mentioned. It is faster and safer.
