Chicken cross the road game

Hello all,
I’m trying to find the name and console of a game I used to play.
It was one where you were a chicken trying to cross the road and I believe it was on a multi cart.

One aspect I remember is when you got squashed by a car, your ‘guts’ remained there and you could slide over it in your next go (grim bit fun).

It was around mid 90’s.

Graphics were 8 bit from what I remember.

I did check freeway but you get pushed back, no guts splat to slide on, so I’m not sure that’s it.

Sure it's a sort of clone i think...but my suggestions is too "young"

This was an early prototype of "Freeway". Originally, you was going to control a stick figure instead of a chicken, and if you got ran over by a vehicle, you get turned into a small puddle of blood.

That is amazing! Yeah I saw freeway recently which reminded me of this other game I played. It seems better than frogger as it’s just two minute sessions to get as high score as possible.
I think the game I’m thinking of was on some TV collection console with a selection of games.
