Hacking Cannot install CIAs through FBI

Hello, I've been trying to install CIAs through FBI using Download Play > Homebrew launcher.

I cannot seem to install any CIAs including FBI, Anemone3DS and the rest.

I've tried changing SD Cards, reformatting the sd card to no avail.

The error I get is :

Failed to install CIA file.
Result code: 0xE0A046DF
Level: Usage (28)
Summary: Invalid state (5)
Module: FS (17)
Desc: <unknown> (735)

If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

Don't use FBI as homebrew, but from the looks of it, it may require you to patch the FS module, so before loading the HB menu, open Rosalina's menu, go to "Process patches menu..." and select to patch the FS.

What version of Luma are you on? Are you looking at Rosalina's (L+Down+Select) menu or Luma's? It should be the second option.

Using Luma3ds 9.0, so I open it by holding Select on bootup?

no while on the home menu hit L down and select then proccesses

For Luma 9.0, it says it patches FS by default.

Oh wow, sorted it out. Data management was corrupted.
