Can you block Swich Updates without losing tinfoil stores?

In the internet settings I put DNS to manual and wrote 207.246.121.077 and 163.172.141.219 below. It made tinfoil not detect the stores most of the time. Yesterday i put in Automatic and the stores were there automatically and while pressing buttons a popup asked me something and got pressed whithout me reading and it was update 16.0.
Is there a better DNS address that blocks firmware updates only?

Use exosphere.ini and dns:mitm and you won’t need to modify your DNS anymore. Here’s how to set it up.

Cool. So basically if the only time I boot to the OFW is when I feel ready to update, I just copy the emunand codelines + the DNS MITM?

yes, that is correct.

OFW is intended to be 100% clean but able to go Online.
CFW will be blocked from contacting Ninty and if it did connect the Prodinfo would be masked. Other services like Tinfoil will still work.

While we are on the subject, is it possible to be unbanned from years ago around the first day I installed a custom firmware and/or have a way to play online on cfw now?

Once you switch is banned chances are slim to none that it will ever be unbanned.
