Unfortunately there are different Cables around the World,some fit for all 3 Handhelds (GameBoy Color/GameBoy Pocket/GameBoy Advance),some not.

I'm not sure if it's that but I have a light for the gba shaped like a snake. However, I recommend the 101 gba that has a backlight. The original gba sucks.

i would just get a cheap used gba sp, no need for extra lights since the screens have their own light really.
