Misc can i log into my u.s account on a European Switch?

As title says, is this possible?
cause ive read some ppl saying yes, but whenever i try it on my oled i get a 'display cannot be' something about cannot be displayed.

i have tried to set the switch region to americas, and europe.
and i sign in with my u.s account but i just cant seem to be able to do.

on pc i can log into my account just fine.

and also note i have shared this acc (cause i had sold my v1 switch at that one time to a friend and i gave him my acc cause i have some games bought on it).

any help would be appreiciated thanks!!~

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to, I have a US switch with an EU/JP accounts so I can download demos from other regions and they work fine.

yes exactly, i had once created jp account too.
maybe i should try to log into my jp account to see if that will be working.

its quite strange to not be able to connect to that acc of mine.
i tried it again just now on pc, and it works fine.

but i always get a code in my gmail before i can enter my acc, maybe i cant get a code on switch and thats why i get that?

it works now!
i switched from using email to sign in id , ididnt have any sign in ids
i made one now it signed it!

one thing im curious about now though , so when i linked to it i am redownloading the stuff (it says somehting about me not being the primary console)

thats fine as i always have internet, so when i am connected i can play yes?
even if my buddys switch is primary and hes playing the same game at the time will it not crash my game?

and lastly, it said something about me not being able to change what i connected to my current switch and if i wanted that, i tapped yes on that.

but im bit worried that i cant use online gaming, or can i ?
and if i wanted to buy somehting now though, id need to use paypal to purchase digitally yes?
(cause here its all euro currency the eshop card stuff)

and if i wanted to join a family membership for the online gaming, i cannot do that with ppl from here (EU) right?
im guessing id have to purchase it on my own huh?

and the final thing is, if i were to purchase lets say SuperSmash bros (physical) eu cartridge can i play that on my u.s account online just fine yes?
